• Do I need to be a certified nurse to work at the Cordell Christian Home?
  No, you do not need to be certified to work here. We have hospitality aid positions available that do not require you to be certified. Being certified can give your more flexibility and pay in this occupation.

  If you are hired by the Cordell Christian Home, we will pay for you to go get your certification.
  
  
• How do I get an application to work at the Cordell Christian Home?
  You can either come to the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, OK and pick up an application at the front desk or you can go to the Employee page on this site and print, complete, and fax us your application.
  
  
• When are visiting hours at the Cordell Christian Home?
  Since this is our resident's home, visiting hours are not limited. You can come whenever you want as long as it is okay with your loved one and it doesn't interfere with their care.
  
  
• Can I call and talk to my loved one?
  Yes! Feel free to talk or just check up on your loved one. You can call anytime in the day or night.
  
  
• Where do I send mail to so it will get to my loved one?
  If you would like to send a letter or a card just make it out to your loved one at 1400 N. College St. Cordell, OK 73632. We deliver mail daily so it will make it to your loved one almost as soon as it arrives.
  
  
• Can I send e-mails to my loved one?
  Yes you can. In fact we have several family members that frequently keep in touch with their loved ones that way. Just send your e-mail to cch@cableone.net. Our staff will deliver (and read if necessary) your e-mails to your loved ones.
  
  
• If I have a problem concerning my loved one, who do I tell?
  We want you to feel like you can be honest with us in every. Or Social Services Director is Ronda Allen and she is the main lady that you can contact with any concerns or complaints. Although you can feel free to tell any staff member your concerns and it will get taken care of immediately. If you feel as if your problem was not taken care of you can always call the Oklahoma State Department of Health at 1-800-747-8419 or e-mail them at LTCComplaints@health.state.ok.us.
  
  
• What are the monthly activities and can I attend them with my loved one?
  Our activities are updated monthly and are posted on this site on the Activities page. We would love for you to come and join in on activities. Our residents always seem to have more fun when there are a lot of people involved in activities.

  You can either come by the Cordell Christian Home and pick up information and talk with our Social Services Director, call and give us an address to send it to, or you can simply e-mail us at cch@cableone.net and give us your address and we will send you information.
  
  
• What do I have to do to admit myself or a loved one into the Cordell Christian Home?
  The first thing you must do is give us the necessary information about the possible new resident, whether it be yourself or a loved one. You can do this by calling us at 580-832-3371, or going to our New Admissions page on this site. All you have to do is complete and submit the form and we will get back with you.
